Slice of Life ~ Talking to My Crush

   I was at the park. Smirz park. My crush was there. He was in the ally playing basketball.
   I walked up to him and said "Hey. Can I shoot some?" He smiled at me, and replied "sure." He passed me the ball.
   He dared me that I wouldn't make it. So I put so much effort into my throw. So much that I actually made it! He shouted "Ayyyye she made it."
   I was so happy and confident. We actually stayed there in his ally for a while talking. It was an awesome moment of my life. 😋

    That sounds like such an awesome moment, Gina! I'm so glad you saved it here on your blog. This is also the perfect slice of life - it's just a small story, one tiny little moment in time! Great job!
    Only feedback for improving - change the title to reflect the story. You can always add the Slice of Life picture later to show it's a slice :-)

Freshman Year

Well, I've recently been re reading all the cringey things I had written as an 8th grader lol. I noticed that I had matured greatly from my years of being in middle school. Being a freshman is a big responsibility! But that's no problem for me, since I manage to do my work on time with effort. Im pretty sure my GPA will be a 4 or 3.5 when it comes out. I actually love some of my new teachers. One of them is extremely strict, and I just can't stand him! Im passing with a B in his class since I forgot about one measly homework assignment. Oh well. I miss Heritage. I miss my English teacher Ms. Brezek. She was the one who introduced me to blogging. It is extremely soothing after a long tiring day! If you're all still wondering, yes I still love Michael Jackson! No, I do not like my best friend Bob anymore. He's still my friend that I hang out with almost every day! My First Concert

   Hey guys. This blog is about my first concert experience.    This was when I was in 7th grade. It was at the Chicago Theatre. I used to be really obsessed with this boy band called R5 . I liked the main singer, which is Ross Lynch. My bestfriend and I went together.    I was so excited I couldn't explain. I kept jumping up and down. I was shaking and could not stay still, lol.    I remember my bff singing "I don't know the words oh no I don't."😂    Right when it started I couldn't shut up. I was just screaming my head off. I was all the way in the back but I could still see them. It went on for about 2 hours. I had a sore throat and lost my voice after lol.    After the show my bff and I bought some merchandise. I got a couple shirts, and a hat. My bff got a shirt too.    So that was my concert experience. It was the most fun I had in 2016.    When was your first concert?
